When creating this 12x16 inch painting, I was discovering how to create raindrops with acrylic paints. The background is meant to represent a desert type landscape. If you look behind the raindrops, the painting has a heat-element quality to it. However, when you look at the raindrops, you feel the balance between the comfort of the rain and the heat of the horizon.
